For the first time in history, we were allowed to projection map the HOLLYWOOD sign. This was a partnership with HOLLYWOOD Chamber of Commerce to celebrate Black Culture as well as BET's promotion of Culture's Biggest Night, The 2022 BET AWARDS. This project was a unique challenge, from creating content that would read across the HOLLYWOOD letter forms, creating a dynamic an engaging experience for local audiences, the drone team capturing the installation, while also living up to the very high bar set by the Board of Directors of the HOLLYWOOD sign - protecting the integrity of the HOLLYWOOD sign while celebrating Black Culture and promoting the 2022 BET AWARDS. The technical, creative, and political challenges were substantial, but we pulled it off! The installation was seen by millions, thanks to the incredible drone coverage, the local NEWS that captured the event via their news copters, the local community that could not miss the spectacle, and Social Media that brought it to the the rest of the world. In celebration of the undeniable brilliance of our Tweeter-In-Chief, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah curated and commissioned Trump's very own Presidential Twitter Library. Our Brand Creative and Brand Marketing teams worked closely with TDS to establish a brand identity and style guide, and helped Pop2Life to design the installations and overall experience. From wrapping the front of the building to designing motion graphics, infographics, and a wall-length timeline of Trump's career on Twitter, the CC Design team served our country well!
